The center has 13 disproportionality and disparities specialists throughout Texas, at least one in every region. Specialists responsibilities include engaging the community and forming a Disproportionality and Disparities Advisory Committee to address disproportionality and disparities within systems in Texas.

Regional Disproportionality and Disparities Advisory Committees

Regional Disproportionality and Disparities Advisory Committees were established in each region to provide ongoing guidance for disproportionality planning and implementation work including recommendations for change and informing regional and state policymakers and HHSC leadership.
