Sealed bids were received by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 W. 45th Street, Austin, Texas 78751, Telephone (512) 206-5880, on April 24, 2015, for Project No. 10-097-MSS, Men’s & Women’s Forensic Units, Mexia State Supported Living Center, Mexia, Texas.

Sealed bids will be received and date/time stamped by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 West 45th Street, Bldg. 633, Conference Room 149, Austin, Texas 78751, (512) 206-5880 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015, for Project No. 10-097-MSS, Men’s & Women’s Forensic Units, Mexia State Supported Living Center, Mexia, Texas.  The Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Room 149. 

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2010, in Building 662 at Mexia State Supported Living Center, 540 Chapel Drive, Mexia, Texas 76667, (254) 562-1677.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. 

Plans and specifications will be available Monday, March 16th, 2015. Requests for Plans and Specifications shall be made through Miles Associates via Third Coast Architects (TCA), specifically, Walt

Myrick, Project Manager, (281)894-0234 or walt@tcarch.com. $150.00 deposit is required. The Project contains renovation of 27 Buildings to convert to Forensic Units, including replacing ceilings, light

fixtures, conduits, access panels, adding damage resistant window security systems, screens, reworking of duct work, replacing HVAC units, as well as ceiling access doors, sprinkler heads, smoke

detectors and exit signage.

Bids will be received in accordance with State Procedures.
