HHSC announces the award of a contract for RFP# 10-026-SAH for Roof Repair/Replacement to Alamo Roofing & Metal Co., Inc.

Sealed bids were received by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 W. 45th Street, Austin, Texas 78751, Telephone (512) 206-5880, on March 11, 2011, for Project No. 10-026-SAH, Roof Repair/Replacement, San Antonio State Hospital, San Antonio, Texas.

Sealed bids will be received and date/time stamped by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Maintenance and Construction, at 909 West 45th Street, Bldg. 633, Austin, Texas 78751, (512) 206-5880 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, for Project No. 10-026-SAH, Roof Repair/Replacement – Multiple Buildings, San Antonio State Hospital, San Antonio, Texas.  The Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room 149. 

A PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the San Antonio State Hospital, 6711 South New Braunfels, Maintenance Bldg. 640 Library, San Antonio, Texas, 78223.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. 

Plans and specifications will be available Monday, January 31, 2011, from Amtech Building Sciences, Inc., 2808 Longhorn Blvd., Suite 307, Austin, Texas 78758, (512) 258-1661 and $100.00 deposit is required.  The work consists of multiple roof repairs and replacements.   Bids will be received in accordance with State Procedures.  Please contact Amtech Building Sciences, Inc. if you have project inquiries.
