CHIP PERINATAL COVERAGE

The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) perinatal coverage provides prenatal care for the unborn children of low-income women who do not qualify for Medicaid. Once born, the child will receive CHIP benefits for the duration of the 12-month coverage period.

Applications for CHIP perinatal coverage are available on the Web in English and Spanish, or by calling 1-877-KIDS-NOW (1-877-543-7669) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
