Medicaid Physician Payment for Quality Committee

Overview

The Physician Payment for Quality Committee, created by Rider 68 in House Bill 1 during the 2011 Legislature, is charged with determining the 10 most overused services performed by physicians in Texas Medicaid using national guidelines related to unnecessary medical procedures as the basis for this determination.
