The Task Force for Children with Special Needs was established to improve the coordination, quality and efficiency of services for children with special needs. The task force is charged with developing a comprehensive five-year strategic plan to address the needs of children with chronic illnesses, intellectual or other developmental disabilities or serious mental illness.
