Texas Medicaid and CIDC (Chronically Ill and Disabled Children) are making changes for the better. The medical community spoke and we responded. We're traveling the information highway with TexMedNet, the Texas Medicaid Network. To login as a guest, User Name = Guest, Password = State (note, user name and password are case sensitive as indicated).  Prior access required client-side software. Now all features of the previous system are available on the Internet.

When using any TexMedNet service, the submission of claims must be sent through an electronic format.

We have used Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) and health care industry electronic data interchange (EDI) standards, when possible, to facilitate electronic data exchange with our vendor and provider partners. Click here for more general information about TexMedNet.

	Email (electronic mail) to connect the medical community with the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and National Heritage Insurance Company (NHIC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
